The Traditional Tools Group Inc May Newsletter

See below the Traditional Tools Group’s May 2017 Newsletter.

TTTG is a not-for-profit society interested in traditional tools and skills.

Members include artisans and amateurs, tool users and collectors.

Four issues of NEWS, the TTTG magazine, are published each year.

See tttg.org.au for full details

As you can see in the newsletter the society is for both woodworking and metalworking.

I attended a metalworking day a while ago and made a forged scribe; it was interesting but hard work with all the hammering!

I have also attended tool sharpening and plane workshops which were very useful.

I should go to a saw sharpening class at some stage but not sure when.

TTTG have a stand at the Sydney Timber and Working with Wood Show held in June at Sydney Olympic Park which is always well attended.
