Workshop Update – turning, selling & purchasing

Plank Competition I have spent a lot of my time on my Shire Woodworking Club plank entry; but did manage to finish it on time. See separate post regarding the making of the train set below:    Pen Sales Sold a pen out on eBay out of the blue; I had forgot that I had posted pens for sale here and had a moment of panic that I had already sold or given away the pen. Shire Woodworking Club – September 2017 Newsletter

Shire Woodworking Club – September 2017 Newsletter posted below. Good turnout for the AGM, I am on the toy making subcommittee again.  Good to see that all positions were filled before the AGM; definitely not the case in most clubs. The narrow pieces are oak and I am intending to use these in a chopping board (I have not made one yet). can’t remember…

She has tried stands to separate the files but with limited success. I suggested using additional drawers with a gap so the…

Workshop update – I had too much wood!

Workshop update – I had too much wood!

I then looked at my wood rack (as shown below) and it was full so something had to be done. It was either get rid of wood (not desirable) or make something to use up some stock. I decided that the make something…
